Casual, attractive Piedmont hangout serves a nice selection of Turkish specialties plus a few Cal-Med salads, pastas, and seafood. Kick off the meal with grilled calamari on a bed of arugula or filo-wrapped cylinders of smoked cheese and parsley. Yummy entrées include imam bayildi (eggplant with roasted spinach and artichokes), manti (beef-filled dumplings draped in yogurt, mint, and tomato), and a particularly tender, smoky sis kebab of cubed and minced lamb. The brief wine list includes two Turkish vintages. Get the creamy coffee custard for dessert.
