With this week's feature, the Express takes the bold step of covering a topic no one else is right now: the tenth anniversary of 9/11, an as-yet underexposed and unrecognized milestone.
Psych! Everyone in the universe is writing and reporting about 9/11 right now, as well they should be. And amid all the noise, we have veteran politician, activist, and writer Tom Hayden offering an incisive, interesting, and exceptionally cohesive look at all the ways in which the tragedy has colored our political landscape, national mood, and especially, our foreign policy in the ten years since 9/11 and as we continue to fight wars in its name. Read Hayden's piece here.
