You Write Too Long: This Week's Feature, Bite-Sized

This week, Oakland's farmer's markets are leaving a bad taste in some local mouths*, as some local business-owners argue that the markets — which don't pay rent to the city and which are including more and more non-farm vendors, many from outside the area — are actually hurting the local economy, despite the veneer of feel-good urban idyll.
