World Card Making Day

When: Sat., Oct. 4, 1 p.m. 2008
Price: free

Making your own greeting cards is a way to personalize them while (potentially, at least) going green. Celebrate World Card Making Day -- founded by Paper Crafts Magazine -- on Oct. 4 at Pocahontas Hall (1403 Main St., Oakley), where folks from the Stampin' Up! company host a three-hour workshop in creating handmade cards for all occasions using rubber stamps. 1 p.m.
