Women's History Month Maestra Series at Ashkenaz

Fri., March 2 2018
A Maestra is she who is consummate in her craft; an inspirational teacher. The one who stands firm, courageous and tall in her community.

Ashkenaz and Women Drummers International are proud to present the second annual Maestra series in honor of Women's History Month this March. These influential women musicians, dancers, storytellers, and comedians will grace the Ashkenaz stage for the month of March, beginning with Venezuela with the great Pura Fé, then from the Congo, to Spain, to Oakland with many stops along the way.
