This worthwhile documentary profile of the late Kunstler, the epitome of the radical leftist lawyer, was made by his daughters Emily and Sarah Kunstler — partly to celebrate the life and career of their father and partly to restate his commitment to standing up against injustice despite heavy odds. Among the underdogs he defended in court: the Chicago 8, Native American activists, several notorious murder defendants, and gangster John Gotti. Nice combo of home movies and period news footage (90 min.).
