WHY? Drummer to Release Debut

He moved to a cabin outside of Cincinnati more than a year ago, but the previously Oakland-based drummer Josiah Wolf is set to release his debut on Anticon, Jet Lag, on March 2. Jet Lag not only comes after this cross-country move, but it’s also a breakup album (Wolf wrote it in the wake of the ending of an eleven-year relationship). Appropriately, emotions are raw and upfront, at least on the recently released track “The Trailer and the Truck.” (MP3 here)
Wolf will open for WHY?, the band he plays in with his younger brother Yoni, when the band embarks on a tour this spring.
