When: Sat., Aug. 19, 6:30-9 p.m. 2017
Price: $25-$50 (sliding scale)
This 1.5 hour production is a provocative, out-of-the-box exploration of gender, sexuality, and ability. Through a multilingual, inclusive blend of spoken-word poetry, classical Indian dance, and music, WHEN SITA WAS A MICROBE! seeks to destabilize categories, traditions, and prejudices. All proceeds will benefit the work of San Francisco Women Against Rape (SFWAR). Please join us for this creative project in exploding and decolonizing categories of gender, caste, sexuality, and ability. This show is a fundraiser benefit for San Francisco Women Against Rape (SFWAR).
