Watershed Poetry Festival

Take a stroll down Strawberry Creek, and then spend the day in poetic bliss as lauded poets celebrate the life and work of Ecotopia author Ernest Callenbach at the 17th annual Watershed Environmental Poetry Festival, part of 100 Poets for Change. Featuring luminaries such as Joy Harjo, Robert Hass, and Francisco X. Alarcón, plus Laura Moriarty, Brent Cunningham, and journalist Mark Hertsgaard reading from special works, the event also showcases the art and poetry of students from California Poets in the Schools, Poetry Inside Out, and River of Words. Exhibits of books, magazines, and 'zines, plus art installations will also be on display.
