Re: “Yelp Extortion Allegations Stack Up

We've all been wronged by Yelp. When we strike against their blackmailing tactics we should strike as one.Recently a Yelp elite posted a negative review complete with a lie about how I can remove 1 star reviews without ever using our services but because of something he read. When I went to a Yelp forum to see what other yelp elite felt about this not only did they attack me ,a small business owner but 2 more of them did the same thing. One even hacked into my profile and posted in there.Everybody is wondering what we can do to stop the blackmailing, here's our chance to show that there is a large number of us that will no longer tolerate this. Please everyone reading this post join with me and copy/paste the link below and read for yourselves how the yelp elite enjoy hurting small business. Then post an anonymous comment (so they can't attack your business) and express your outrage. With enough of us doing that we can take away a little of yelp's bullying power. Please my fellow workers tell everyone you know,go to every website you can, social sites, blogs everywhere and share the following links. This in justice won't stop until WE do something about it,d nothing and yelp wins. Copy and paste the following link.....http://www.yelp.com/topic/fort-lauderdale-…

Re: “Yelp and the Business of Extortion 2.0

I have 30 count em 30 unpublished 4/5 star reviews that are in the not recommended section of Yelp. This is 30 of my customers who've been lead to falsely believe that their opinions matter. I don't have one negative review written but I'm willing to bet that as soon as I do that will be printed. They have the right to print what they want but they don't have the right to deceive the public. I'm currently in the midst of a B.B.B.complaint against Yelp in which they keep pointing to the magic filter and shrugging their shoulders saying , golly we can't do nutin ,it's all done by the magic filter. Yet I personally experienced them removing various reviews. If we all keep flooding the B.B.B with our complaints and let them know that we are all unhappy with the B.B.B. protecting them, it may serve to help expose Yelp. Also I take all my unpublished reviews and 1] make sure I send a public response on the Yelp site telling all who sees that Yelp considers the person who wrote the review a fraud and doesn't value their opinion. 2] I then print the review on my facebook at A League of Extraordinary Movers, under the caption," Yelp may hate ya but I still luv ya".I give a gift certificate each month for the review with the most likes. Please go look.

Re: “Yelp and the Business of Extortion 2.0

Good idea, let's find review sites where we can Yelp about Yelp. I've looked on Yelp it self,,,I know but I did it anyway. But now let's visit Angie's list, City search/grid,any available outlet. Let's Yelp about Yelp. Also write reviews on Yelp, get friended on Yelp get inside the regime be a an elite.

Re: “Yelp and the Business of Extortion 2.0

We as an offended party need to come up with some sort of retaliation or vetting of Yelp. I could add my tale of woe to the pile here but so what? We know what the problem is ,what do we do about it? Lawsuits have been filed and thwarted but lets keep assisting in them anyway we can. I personally make sure to respond to those who took time to write and let them know that Yelp doesn't value their opinion but I do and thank them . Then I post the discarded reviews on my facebook..A League of Extraordinary Movers.. under a section called "Yelp may hate ya but I still love ya". We gotta keep getting the word out and try to affect their stock positions. Also sometimes letting the local B.B.B. can help slightly. If we keep sending them complaints it has to have some type of effect. Also keep fighting and be creative.United we stand, CAN YOU DIG IT??,oops sorry I got carried away.
