Valentine's Playlists by the Express Music Critics

Whether you're celebrating Valentine's Day, Anti-Valentine's Day, Singles Awareness Day, or not at all, here are some must-hear playlists compiled by a few of our Express staffers in honor of this oft-treasured and oft-complained-about, uh, "holiday." At best, you'll find a new favorite song you'll want to play at your future wedding. At worst, you'll find your new favorite depressing "love sucks" song. Either way, you win. You're welcome.

Note: It was a total coincidence that three of us picked a song from Magnetic Fields' super-excellent three-volume masterpiece 69 Love Songs. What makes this album so great is that it's not an album about love, but an album about love songs, which means you'll find plenty of truly wonderful ballads, but also plenty of sardonic, tongue-in-cheek, "fuck love" songs as well.
