Re: “Liz Figueroa Lies About Her Residence

State Elections Code 2024: The mere intention to acquire a new domicile, without the fact of removal avails nothing, neither does the fact of removal without the intention.

If Liz lived in Sunol previously and she stayed registered in Sunol while her damaged house was under repair, she does not lose her ability to be registered to vote. It's all about intent to return. Which she had. So, this article is just a distraction from real issues. There is no legal basis for messing with the woman's voter registration.

Re: “BREAKING NEWS: Liz Figueroa Investigated for Possible Criminal Wrongdoing

Hello. Take a look at California Election Code 2020-2035. The Code is very clear that one does not lose one's voter registration simply by relocating temporarily. As long as one has the intention of returning, one keeps one's voter registration intact. Deal with some substantive issues in the race rather than stirring up dust that's not even close to a breach of law.

Elections Code 2021 (a) A person who leaves his or her home to go into another state or precinct in this state for temporary purposes merely, with the intention of returning, does not lose his or her domicile.
