Dear Josh Wolf, If there was footage of a criminal act/s and the data requested by the courts were specific to the crime/s, then you have at least a civic duty to report the crime. You are not the U.S. Judicial system. You do not have the right to decide what is or is not relevant information about the crime. We are talking about injury to property and human life (not legal protest), what is the problem? You had nothing to hide? If someone was filming the crowd and filmed you getting hurt badly by a thug/property destroyed, or had filmed the person/s who did it, I am sure you would not want that evidence minimized, or blocked. Journalists, Bloggers, or anyone who are around a crime are not above the law. Part of the reason why Hitler's final solution nearly succeeded was a lack of people stopping the "Brown Shirts" and getting the events out to the masses.
