Townes and Tagore 5th Annual Seminar: The Global Water Crisis

Sat., Oct. 11 2014
Price: FREE
Groundwater is the safest source of drinking water, but it has also been overused and abused for at least the past 60 years resulting in serious water crises in California and other parts of the world. The California water crisis has been intensified by the effects of an extraordinary drought this summer.

The Hydrogrameen technology developed by the Institute for the Bengal and Himalayan Basins (IIBHB), will be presented at UC Berkeley. This US technology can be used to inject fresh water into empty/depleted aquifers to replenish them and prevent further land subsidence in California and beyond. This is our opportunity to debate about the use of the US Hydrogrameen technology.
