Re: “Meet Oakland's New Go-To Lobbyist

"Insightful investigative reporting" indeed...

I guess when you post under "Anonymous Oakland Resident" it is easy to believe reporters who cite "a knowledgeable source." God forbid a reader capable of critical thinking should question a source who is unwilling to put their name behind their aspersions.

In fact, if one was to turn a critical eye to this article, rather than using the article to validate their own assumptions they already have, Mr. Klein, I suppose we would have to wonder why why Mr. Gammon did not give his target an opportunity to respond to Mr. Kakishiba's allegations, and why the "facts" presented in the article more closely represent innuendo.

I have been a regular Express reader for many years, but am beginning to question my readership... Could this new journalistic style, also known as lying, be part and parcel of the new ownership changes?

Mr. Gammon you say that spin "is stock and trade of a lobbyist" is it also a part of your writing style?
