Rampant vandalism is back, in Berkeley. Or it was on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, at least, when some douchebag ran amok in South Berkeley, slashing tires on dozens of vehicle. In all, 61 Berkeley residents and 12 Oakland residents woke up to find their tires deflated, according to KRON news. Most of the vandalism occurred on a 17-block stretch of California Street, though the culprits also hit cars parked on Russell, Blake, King, and Julia Streets. So far, Berkeley police haven't apprehended any suspects.
