This Week's Word: Yadidahbooboo

Surveying the latest in Yay Area hip-hop slang.

Pronounced: Yah-dee-dah-bu-bu

Part of Speech: Interjection

As Heard On: Mistah F.A.B., "Kicked Out the Club" (Thizz Entertainment)

What It Do: An expression rendered with hyphy boisterousness, derived from Yadidahmean (itself derived from "You know what I mean?"), which apparently has no specific meaning other than to add emphasis to a statement.

Example: "Yo man, that new San Quinn album be off the shackles! ŒHell Yeah' is the slap, ma nizzle. Yadidahbooboo!"
