There's a Fault on the East Side, But We Can't Find It Here On the West Side

Yes, the Hayward Fault is perhaps the deadliest earthquake fault line in the world, and yes, the fault runs directly beneath UC Berkeley's Memorial Stadium, and, yes, state law does appear to forbid the constructon of public buildings near fault lines, but since we can't actually locate the fault line on the stadium's west side, that's a fine place to build a new athletic center, campus planners have concluded, the CoCo Times reports.
