The UK's Shaun of the Dead gang -- director Edgar Wright, writer-actors Simon Pegg and Nick Frost -- are back for an agreeably zany variation on the male-bonding comedy, as a group of middle-aged guys try to re-create the epic pub crawl of their youth. The title refers to the twelfth and last pub on the crawl, not necessarily to the mock-sci-fi trappings of Wright and Pegg’s screenplay. If your idea of irresistible entertainment is watching a squad of drunken Englishmen being chased by sinister robots with blue stuff inside them, search no more. Costarring Eddie Marsan, Paddy Considine, Martin Freeman, and Rosamund Pike (109 min.).
