The Voice, The Word, and The Act of Singing as The Practice of The Jewish Faith with Maya Raviv

When: Thu., May 25, 7 p.m. 2017
Price: Suggested Donation
A unique take on the brilliant design of Jewish prayer as a tool for embodying conscious oneness, with emphasis on the significance of chanting in the Hebraic tradition, and its power to inspire intimate connection with the Divine. Explore voice as a tool to connect with divine presence, word as a tool to beckon creation energy, and music as a tool to awaken emotional energy. The evening will include shared singing and a participatory lecture/group discussion.
