The Naked Stage: a new full-length play improvised every night!

Oct. 5-16 2016
10 Performances only!

Combining San Francisco’s tradition of narrative longform improvisation with the demands and surprises of traditional theater, these stories take place on a single set, in traditional stage-play style by Improv Playhouse of San Francisco. The actors have just a bare stage, a few simple suggestions from the audience, and each other. What results is a night of completely improvised theater -- a spontaneous and unique 3-act play, with the audience and the actors alike discovering the story as it unfolds.

"An improv supergroup......see what magic happens."
~Contra Costa Times

“Improv Playhouse of San Francisco performed one of the most artful, elegant, outstanding pieces of unscripted theater that I've ever seen.”
~Pam Victor, co-author of Improv at the Speed of Life: The TJ and Dave Book
