Drama, Suspense/Thriller
Proof that its possible for a movie to be so bad it actually makes you want to stop watching movies all together. Beyond the title and a couple of clichd jolts, Molly Hartley is about as un-spooky as you can get. The titular character (Haley Bennett) thinks she might be crazy just like her mother who recently tried to stab her to death, but, as if to prevent any tension from building, a prologue has already made it clear to the audience shes not. Promise of Biblical-grade climactic scares never pay off either. We wish we were just being as melodramatic as Molly, but alas, we're not (87 min.).
