Drama
Jeremy Piven plays Don, the jefe of a gang of traveling used-car salesmen. Another name for them might be mercenaries. They travel from lot to lot, helping dealers clear their inventory by using whatever tricks necessary. This time around, it’s Ben Selleck (James Brolin) in need, desperate to stop arch-nemesis Stu Harding (Alan Thicke) from closing him down. The idea itself isn’t so terrible, especially when you toss a bunch of Comedy Central ringers like Ed Helms and David Koechner. Unfortunately, the goods just aren’t that funny at the end of the day — at least not for the price of a ticket. By the time it arrives on Comedy Central, you’ll probably laugh your ass off (90 mins.).
