Drama, Horror, Suspense/Thriller
Here’s an easy litmus test to figure out whether or not you’ll like the latest Japanese horror remake, The Eye: did you think The Grudge, Pulse, or One Missed Call were scary? If so, then The Eye, about a blind violinist who, after receiving a double corneal implant, discovers she can see dead people just like Haley Joel Osmont, is probably your cup of tea. Everyone else should skip this Jessica Alba vehicle and buy a magazine with her on the cover; it's cheaper and only takes ten minutes to read, as opposed to the 97 minutes needed to watch this The Sixth Sense knock-off (2008).
