Stop the blog presses: Classic rock station 107.7 The Bone has awarded Castro Valley resident Jolie Rose the enviable title of 2007 Bone Rock Girl. According to the release, Rose will represent The Bone "in its promotions, special events, and advertising, as well as be part of the station's on-air programming." Her official debut on the Lamont and Tonelli morning show takes place this Friday, March 23. "I think this is totally up my alley," said Rose, who graduated from Castro Valley High School in 1998 and attended Hayward's Chabot College. "I definitely have a passion for meeting new people and being part of something that is so cool. I think it will be a wonderful experience and if it leads to something, I would be open to anything and everything that comes my way," Rose said. She was selected from a 60-contestant field through voting at 1077TheBone.com over the past seven weeks.
