Some of the greatest stories ever told have been told in pictures. On cheap paper.With a lot of superhuman feats and reasons to say "Whammo" and "Blam." Open to teenage readers, collectors, creators, and fans of all types, the Teen Comic Club at the Oakland Library's Martin Luther King Jr. Branch (6833 International Blvd., Oakland) meets weekly to celebrate well-loved classics and spread the word about new favorites. 3:30 p.m. OaklandLibrary.org
