Tax Help

When: Wednesdays, 12-4 p.m., Saturdays, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. and Mondays, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Continues through March 24 2014
Death and taxes may be the only two definites in this life, but for the moment, at least, the latter a little more than the former. Make this the year you don’t pull an all-nighter on April 14 and get thee to one of many free local tax prep workshops, at which trained professionals will be on hand to offer guidance, information, moral support, and patience as you file your state and federal returns, even if you don’t know your W2 from your W9. At various branches of the Oakland and Berkeley public libraries, including the Oakland Public Library César Chávez Branch (3301 E. 12th St., Oakland), where there will be Spanish-language workshops.
