Talk: Crafting a New Natural History for SF's Presidio

When: Tue., April 10, 7-9 p.m. 2018
Phone: 510-848-9358
Price: free
San Francisco’s Presidio, a fort since 1776, was turned over to the National Park Service and Presidio Trust 21 years ago. Feats of “reconciliation biology” have re-created dunes and marshes, freed a creek buried in garbage, revived a rare lake and a legend-wreathed spring, and more. Michael Boland, Chief of Park Development and Operations for the Presidio Trust, talks about possible lessons for the East Bay.
