Susan Hershman

When: Fri., Oct. 26, 7:30 p.m. 2007
Price: free

You know those houses that make you wonder, as you pass them: Are the owners colorblind? At Builders Booksource (1817 Fourth St., Berkeley), Susan Hershman discusses how to choose the best hues, as detailed in her book House Colors. An Oakland-based interior architect, Hershman now turns her attention to exteriors, offering tips on which colors and surface materials are best suited to which architectural styles. She also explains why the colors you see on tiny paint-company swatches often look totally different when they're covering entire exterior walls. Friday, Oct. 26, 7:30 p.m.
