Baghead killers, psychotic rogue cops, and lowlife country druggies are running amok and spilling blood in a small prairie town, and it’s up to FBI agents Bill Pullman and Julia Ormond to separate reality from illusion. Of so it seems. It’s hard to say which is worse — Jennifer (Boxing Helena) Lynch’s direction or the script she wrote with Kent Harper, who plays one of the nutty cops. The film’s publicity compares it to Rashomon. Diaper rash is more like it. A waste of perfectly good actors, including thriller/horror stalwart Michael Ironside (97 min.).
Director: Fritz Kiersch
Writer: David Golden
Cast: Robert Rusler, Laurie Fortier, Nick Cornish and Armand Assante
