Street Meat: Nameless Emeryville Wiener Stand

Chase it down: Daily, at the corner of Hooper St. and Mandela Parkway.
What to get: The all-beef footlong dog ($3.00) has a sheep's casing so taut it almost snaps when you bite it; the insides are soft and pink with a creamy texture. Load it up with tomato salsa cruda - it's literally homemade. Who's in line: Tall jeans-and-flannel guys on their way from Home Depot.
