Stop Berkeley Police from Shooting our Dogs!

When: March 5-June 5 2018
We are working with the National Lawyers Guild to reform the Berkeley Police Department. This voter initiative was motivated by Berkeley Police misconduct, including their threat to shoot this legally on-leash dog.

We are collecting signatures, nearly every Berkeley voter we have asked has signed the petition. And we are hiring paid signature gatherers to get the required signatures by early May.

Glenda Hatchett, the judge representing Philando Castile's family, has endorsed this measure: "I believe that an elected Police Accountability Board is a critically important element to necessary reform in your community and in our nation."
