Re: “FDA Threatens More Hemp Oil Hustlers Like 'Morgue Juice' with Seizure, Injunctions

And please, spare yourself the embarrassment of associating yourself with the discredited wreck of a piece that was "hemp oil hustlers" unless you want to be associated with the same level of journalistic integrity. That story was frankly a joke. Hear it direct from the lab that generated the test results, don't take my word for it.

Re: “FDA Threatens More Hemp Oil Hustlers Like 'Morgue Juice' with Seizure, Injunctions

additionally, are you aware of the HUGE amount of high CBD hemp farming that is going on??? There is sooooo much production in fact, that prices are plummeting. This hemp is being grown SPECIFICALLY for cannabinoid extractions, NOT for "industry or soil remediation". the latter is so comical as to be absurd frankly. Most of the industry , sources from 2 or 3 VERY well known suppliers, who source from very well known sources. CannaVest/US Hemp Oil and Endoca supply most of the industry with their hemp base. CW Botanicals and Mary's, Irie Hemp, source from 100% domestic hemp bred specifically for CBD extraction. You are talking about things that were myths 3 years ago, let alone today. The first company in the business, MedMj Inc. had a rep due to the personal background of individuals, not anything the company did in the space. Their products are now sold by both the Brazillian and Mexican national heath care systems... so much for shady untested, contaminated products. Cmon, please get with the times if you are going to be critical of the industry.

Re: “FDA Threatens More Hemp Oil Hustlers Like 'Morgue Juice' with Seizure, Injunctions

"There’s no evidence to support such a conclusion, according to leading oncologists who sometimes recommend medical cannabis. "

Say WHAT? cmon, this one is pretty well known by now. 1 second on google http://mct.aacrjournals.org/content/10/7/1…
http://reset.me/study/study-cannabidiol-cb…
http://abcnews.go.com/Health/Healthday/sto…

much of the rest of this article is hyperbole, the concerns about contaminants (the oils are thoroughly screen by all leading manufacturers) and claims to the effect have been readily refuted. You are simply spreading unsubstantiated hype here. Link me one credible source for this assertion.

Ponzi schemes? really? wont even touch it, more hyperbole. Examples please. link me ONE story that does not mention MedMj Inc. ONE.

and finally, the companies have until the deadline to remove the marketing or information links that cite claims as to the effects of CBD. THAT IS ALL. They are free to continue selling products, as the products THEMSELVES are lawful. You cannot make health claims and sell anything as a supplement, that has nothing to do with CBD or hemp oils and these are common FDA warnings in all areas of unregulated supplements, these letters are sent out every month/week. Almost all companies and brands tested this year passed with FLYING COLORS. They are not contaminated. They contain what is stated on the bottle. Stop spreading the hype, do some research please. There are MANY companies selling great quality CBD rich hemp extracts. Just like anything else, if you dig for shit, that is all you will find ;) Now, with that said, I am not standing up for the company you highlighted here, I know nothing about them, and it just LOOKS like a bullshit brand. But there were many other legit brands on the list, that tested perfectly, and only the RETAILERS were cited for making claims NOT the manufacturers, who know better than to make health claims.

Re: “Ask Legalization Nation: Weeding Out Hemp Oil Hustlers.

doing nothing more but parroting bad information. Project CBD is being sued, they clearly have a conflict of interests based on past relationships with CannaVEST, and most of the questions regarding the legality of the products mentioned, are easily refuted. the contaminates cited came from improper cleaning of lab equipment, were reported as flawed by the lab, and then sited in the report anyway. the project CBD piece was full of holes. there are MANY reputable companies selling hemp derived CBD, Medmjinc was simply the first one with the highest profile. they have since been replaced by higher quality whole plant outfits. (its not "in the pipeline", it is already being sold by many companies, get with the times) this stuff (information, companies, etc) is quite easy to find. no need to just reprint information that is inaccurate or highly questionable. you are parroting old information, the industry has moved on beyond the initial companies sourcing Chinese hemp, that is soo 2 years ago. NO ONE is using Chinese hemp, most is coming out of Europe and will be coming out of the U.S. with farms going online this last year. http://cbdmarijuanaoil.com/nations-largest-cbd-hemp-farms/ Quit trying to paint the entire legal CBD industry with the same brush, and labeling it all categorically as "snake oil". all it takes is a simple day on google and amazon to get to the bottom of that question. anyone saying otherwise has never properly researched legal CBD and are simply reprinting articles, such as you are in this piece, instead of adding anything original to the debate. there are many breeders overseas and in the U.S. using hybrids such as Charlotte's Web that qualify for industrial hemp status, and as such, may be sold nationally as nutritional supplements, just like CW is as of last month. and no one is saying CW is snake oil. it is low THC medical marijuana or "industrial hemp" under law. quit being niave of the plants breeding potential under current U.S. law. legal cbd will pave the way for the marketing of any number of the 120 some cannabinoids found in Cannabis, as the only which must be limited is THC. OPEN YOU MIND to the breeding possibilities and stop badmouthing the industry.
