Spaces from Yesterday: The Garage

When: Fri., Aug. 5 and Thu., Sept. 29 2016
Price: Free
Chandra Cerrito Contemporary is pleased to present "Spaces from Yesterday: The Garage", a collaborative project between Bay Area-based artist Amy M. Ho and incarcerated artists from San Quentin State Prison. The project explores memory, imagination, and the experience of space. Based on the inmate artists’ illustrations of places significant to them before prison, Ho will create a series of large-scale video and architectural installations that transform their memories into real spaces and environments. The first of five installations, "The Garage", will debut at Chandra Cerrito Contemporary.
