Wood Tavern's casual, cozy next-door offshoot serves a brief yet tantalizing menu of artisan sandwiches (the Dungeness crab roll with aioli is especially toothsome) as well as a soup of the day and a few salads (get the poached egg and bacon with frisée and scallions). Dinner sees more Wood Tavern-esque offerings. The tiny tables, counter seating and friendly, noisy atmo make the place ideal for takeout orders, single diners, and couples.
