Re: “Burn, Baby, Burn

I really wish some folks could take in the idea that every single persons way of living and raising a child is valid and completely relevant to life on earth. It might make you feel a bit better about yourselves enough to give the negative comments a break.
I took my 7 month old and it was hell for me (it was not kidville by any means)....but she really loved it. The individuals in the whole camp played with and held her and sat in the shade together having juice pops dressed as chickens. Everyone loved it... She is 17 month old now and she is social and outgoing and problems with separation anxiety at all. She loves humanity because she has come into contact with truly outgoing funny loving people.
The ones who wander around in supermarkets and streets like zombies who cannot be bothered to say, "well, hello!" to a stranger are the selfish ones.
So, some of us take our children to a place where you can be free and open and feel the warmth and open hearts of strangers all around that our kids know how to be like that too. Being big and fearless is a great way to face the world. Following the herd and back biting each other is a great way to stay behind and afraid.
No judging. No is lovely. Wake up.
All my best,
