Soul is The Key with 112

When: Sun., Oct. 14, 2 p.m. 2018
Price: $45, VIP $350
The ’90s gave the music world some incredibly gifted and soulful artists, including R&B groups like Dru Hill, K-Ci & JoJo, Boyz II Men, and countless of others. Adding to this era of sounds is 112, a group of Atlanta natives best known for their Grammy-nominated song, “Peaches & Cream.” The group visited the Bay Area back in January as part of the ’90s Block Tour along with Ginuwine. Back then, the group had recently reunited after their initial breakup and seemed eager to work on new music and tour again. When 112 returns to Oakland, fans will notice that only Marvin “Slim” Scandrick and Michael “Mike” Keith will be on stage, as Quinnes “Q” Parker and Daron Jones abruptly quit their reunion in mid-August. Also joining the bill along with 112: Tweet, The Best Intentions, and The Shanico Band.
