Sexiest Place

Sproul Plaza, mid-April through Indian summer

Let's give the inventor of the tubetop a double thumbs-up hey-oh. And while we're at it, sitting on the steps of Sproul Plaza with the first scents of spring perfuming the air, let's give out mad props to the inventors of low-cut jeans, tight spaghetti-strap tops, push-up bras, miniskirts, flipflops, see-through summer dresses, and pigtails. Okay, so no one invented pigtails, but still. We likey-likey. Don't fret, ladies, we're about to objectify men, too. After all, this is Berkeley, and our lusty eyes skitter both ways -- and especially for coeds. So give it up for the inventors of white V-neck cotton undershirts, Gap ribbed-tees that make biceps look humongo, low-cut jeans that perk up the butt, flipflops, Bowflex, and tousled hair. Okay, so no one invented tousled hair. But it's a good look. Especially for those headed to the cruise on Sproul Plaza.
