See Suzanne Vega

Fri., Feb. 8 2013
415-392-2545
Widely regarded as one of the most brilliant songwriters of her generation, Suzanne Vega has given sold-out concerts in many of the world's best-known halls. Songs like “Marlene on the Wall”, “Luka” and “Tom’s Diner” helped forge her reputation and she has gone on to garner seven Grammy nominations. This year she is touring behind the release of her fourth and final installment in her Close-Up series of recordings.

Also, don’t miss her same-day workshop, “Career Toolbox”, at CIIS. The toolbox contains a unique mix of creative, strategic and marketing skills that helped her early career. She will illustrate the need for honest self-reflection as a creative artist and an understanding of what is needed to survive in the intense competitiveness of today's music business.
