It's not just the San Francisco Symphony and Opera that are kicking off their fall seasons with a bang. The San Francisco Early Music Societyis pulling out the baroque stops, pairing soprano Ellen Hargis with much lauded lutenistPaul O'Dette. In a program chosen as much for subtlety as for verve, the Hargis/O'Dette duo performs music by Barbara Strozzi, AlessandrosPiccinini and Scarlatti, and Antonio Cesti.
