Re: “Saving the Coliseum

The best way to improve the Coliseum is to tear down Mt.Davis restore the open views of the hills. Reconfigured field no foul territory closer seats to the field. Bring back bleachers sell the stadium to the A's. Do what Anaheim did for the Angels make it a fan friendly baseball only facility.

Re: “JPA to Discuss Oakland Coliseum’s Future

The City of Oakland and it's pro sports history is coming to a sad end. The Raiders are done more so than when they moved to Los Angeles. I know that the teams history will always be Oakland Raiders. The Raiders in Las Vegas is a bad business decision allowed by a dying corrupt NFL. The Raiders are a replica not an original anymore! The AFL should have never merged with the NFL it did not need to and this is when the trouble was started. for the A's they are a minor league operation in the Major League Baseball scheme. They trade away their talent because they can't afford to win. New stadium is not the reason for this debacle of leadership. And last the Golden State Warriors great team now the identity crisis is the fact that the name Oakland Warriors for which they really are would never be accepted by San Francisco fans because its the only NBA team in the Bay Area. The disregard by the owners is purely financial and the fact that the Warriors have special jerseys celebrating other cultures foreign identities and finally decide to use the town name not very specific and not for the people and city they play in is truly unfortunate.
