Re: “NRA Says It Will Sue Oakland Over New Gun Laws

I have a safe full of handguns. 18 last time I counted. Only three of those use magazines that hold less than ten rounds. So now I am suddenly breaking the law by owning 15 guns with magazines that hold more than ten rounds?

I am a competitive shooter. Some of those guns I shoot competitively. For those guns I have 5 or 6 magazines each, some of which cost $50 per magazine. So not only does this ordinance make me a criminal, but it requires that I suddenly have to fork over thousands of dollars to purchase special magazines that are not even currently manufactured for these guns.

These laws are not common sense.

On a side-note...want to know how long it takes me to change a magazine in most of my handguns? About eight tenths of one second. You can watch videos of faster mag changes on you tube. So why exactly am I being forced to replace all my magazines???

These laws make no sense whatsoever.
