As a paying new customer of yelp.com, from my experience, this is NOT TRUE.
No one from yelp.com has ever had any conversation about getting special treatment concerning negative postings. I expect yelp.com to be transparent and I have not experienced anything other than that. That is the value of yelp.com for its patrons and paying customers. I assume that if I ever do get a bad review,( I have not at this time), I will be able to contact customer and acknowledge the issue, apologize, thank them for informing me, and see about how they could consider having post removed. That is the very point of yelp! I think of it as a quality assurance policy. Who else to ask "how I am doing", than my customers!!? yelp-on! rjaron
