WEST EDGE OPERA's Ariadne auf Naxos opens the "Popera"� season

Featuring Marie Plette, Emma McNairy and Buffy Baggott, three incredible singing actresses in Richard Strauss' most charming opera.

Two troupes of performers- one "serious" one pop- are hired to entertain at a tycoon's party. At the last minute, they're told they have to perform at the same time, with hilarious results.

Mark Streshinsky directs, Jonathan Khuner conducts

El Cerrito Performing Arts Theater offers Plenty of on site parking, and is only a 10-minute walk from El Cerrito Plaza BART.
