On March 28, he reads at Pegasus (2349 Shattuck Ave., Berkeley) with American Book Award and Lannan Foundation fellow Thomas Centolella (sample lines: "I have to be the sun,/I have to shine as if/sorry life itself depended on it"), whose latest book is Views from Along the Middle Way. 7:30 p.m.
