Re: “Rolling Through the Backwoods

Be smart in Canyon. When you hear loud pipes, move out of the way. If you hear tires squealing, park your bike and wait. Bring your body armor and spine protector, always wear a helmet, don't go too fast on the switch backs, watch out for people drifting Hangmans turn, don't ride in those mad bicycle packs. Older cars have been known to boil breaks on way down so watch out for cars unable to stop. Keep in mind that it has been an unrestricted speed zone for a very long time and some folks know the road very very well. maybe take a drive through before you ride through, then it won't be so unexpected. Keep in mind if you ride alone and go off the edge you will be joining several cars and skeletons down in the gulch. You could be there for a long time, its really steep.
