Recycled Artmaking Workshop

When: Thu., Nov. 13, 4 p.m. 2008
Price: free

It used to be that if you wanted to do an art project, you'd have to buy all the materials and equipment. The green movement has changed all that, and now it is possible to create beautiful artworks with salvaged, scavenged, or recycled materials for absolutely free. At the Oakland Library's Piedmont Branch (160 41st St., Oakland) on Nov. 13, representatives from the Museum of Children's Art lead a recycled-artmakingworkshop on using such materials to enter the citywide competition and exhibition, Re-Create. 4 p.m. OaklandLibrary.org
