The post-Burning Man hangover continues in the club and DJ scene with Ratatat atop the week's billings for electronic music. The six-year-old Brooklyn duo, consisting of effects-laden guitarist Mike Stroud and synthesizer/bass player/producer Evan Mast, is touring behind June release LP4 and pulls into The Warfield (982 Market St., San Francisco) on Saturday, Sept. 17. Ratatat's 2004 debut was an entirely instrumental blast of beats and synthetic sounds, while its live performance channeled Sixties psych with copious lights, projections, and mixed media. Probably best known for contributing two hit songs to Kid Cudi'sMan on the Moon: The End of Day LP ("Alive" and "Pursuit of Happiness," featuring MGMT), Ratatat has attracted nasty reviews for LP4, citing the duo's lack of growth and reuse of leftovers from prior album, LP3s. No matter; Ratatat live will effectively pepper what might have been a bland weekend. 8 p.m., $30.
