Re: “I am Annoyed and Disappointed

Gratitude has great food, but the portions are tiny and way overpriced. My issue isn't so much with their hokey 'question of the day' (I always give an answer I know will piss off my server, -- something fascist or out of line with spirituality -- hee hee) but with their hypocrisy. They claim to align spirituality and business yet charge $15 for a plate the size of an appetizer.

If you like Gratitude's food but roll your eyes at the hippy-dippiness you're forced to endure upon entering one of its restaurants, buy their cookbook and make their foods yourself. You can adjust everything to your liking and enjoy some yummy food without having to tell some vacuous 24-yr-old how you are when you're at your best or whatever dimwitted question you have the good fortune to be asked.

Thanks for the article. I happy to say my days of dining at Gratitude have come to an end.

Re: “No Sympathy for BART Workers

Amen! Amen!! Amen!!!

I have long hated BART. Here are folks with half my level of education and who likely earn three times as much as I do. They have no sympathy from me. I agree with the comment from JFM...BART employees are lazy losers...I have talked to station attendants who appear to have a third-grade education (or at least a vocabulary/thought process as such).

What we need to do is full-on boycott BART for at least a month and make them feel the pain. Better yet, ask our city/state officials to come up with a better alternative to this corrupt bunch of whiners.
