Re: “I am Annoyed and Disappointed

Kind of a coal-mining town general store model, no? You work here, we pay you, we recoup labor costs because you buy our goods, or, in this case, our format for spirituality. Look, I've patronized the place and, as a meat-addicted carnivore struggling to eat better, I've found their most healthful food to be very very good.

I am always very hesitant about belief systems, be they religious, quasi-religious, or secular, being peddled through seminars, etc. Also, having at one point dated a very very damaged soul whose mother had sold the figurative farm to buy up EST, it troubles me to know that this Landmark jazz is a derivative.

It also seems obvious to me that a business, whether they label their model "sacred commerce" or "heartless capitalist," should restrain from tying employment or advancement to subjective measures of spiritual and interpersonal growth and advancement.

Hell, what do I know, I do really love their nachos.
